Cashew exports earn the country a total of US$1.6 billion throughout the reviewed period, up by 7.7% against the same period from last year. The average export price stands at an estimated US$5,805 per tonne.Vietnam ships 1.02 million tonnes of coffee overseas for US$2.4 billion in the first six months of the year, a decline of 2.2% in volume but up by 3% in value, respectively.Shrimp exports rake in US$1.2 billion in the first half of the year, an annual drop of 34%.Vietnamese rubber export revenue in the January to June period hits US$803 million with a volume of 580,000 tonnes, annual declines of 23.7% and 3.3%, respectively.The export turnover of wood and wooden products in the first half of the year reaches US$4.7 billion, showing a sharp decrease compared to last year.Vietnamese fruit and vegetable export turnover hits more than US$1 billion in June for the first time, duly raising the figure in the first half of this year to US$2.75 billion, more than 63% higher than that of the same period last year.
The event is being organised by the Vietnam Film Institute as part of the sixth Hanoi International Film Festival 2022. On display at the event will be 200 photos of numerous relic sites and cultural heritages, all of which are settings of cinematographic works used by both local and foreign filmmakers. The documentary covered the tradition of ‘bride-kidnapping’ among the Mong ethnic minority in the northwest mountainous region of Vietnam. The objects and photos on display reflect Buddhist thought, philosophy and spirit, and honour individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) since its inception in November 1981. Notably, they feature Buddhist popularisation in remote, border and island areas, including the nine islands in Truong Sa (Spartly), along with international cooperation in promoting Vietnam’s Buddhism to the world.
